February 5, 2010 Sugarland To Perform at Constellation Brands-Marvin Sands Performing Arts Center This Summer
Canandaigua, N.Y. – The Friends of Constellation Brands – Marvin Sands Performing Arts Center (CMAC) along with Bowery Presents today announced that the popular country duo, Sugarland, will play at CMAC on June 13, 2010. CMAC also announced that Ringo Starr and his All Starr Band will play the venue on July 21, 2010.
Tickets for both shows will be available starting February 13, 2010 at 12:00 p.m. at the CMAC Web site, www.CMACevents.com, www.Ticketmaster.com, select Ticketmaster outlets, charge-by-phone at 1-800-745-3000 and at the Blue Cross Arena Box Office.
“This is the first time that we’ve had the opportunity to announce shows for CMAC so early,” said Ginny Clark, president and executive director, Friends of CMAC. “This is just the beginning of numerous exciting concert announcements at CMAC and we’re thrilled to have the Bowery team on board.”
Bowery Presents partner, Jim Glancy, leads the CMAC account.
“CMAC is a unique and beautiful facility with a lot of soul,” said Glancy. “The announcement of Sugarland and Ringo Starr represent the diversity of acts that we hope to bring to CMAC, offering an entertainment option for everyone this season.”

Jennifer Nettles and Kristian Bush make up country duo Sugarland who’ve sold over 8 million records since exploding onto the music scene in ‘04 with Twice The Speed Of Life (“Baby Girl”/“Something More”). Enjoy the Ride (“Want To”/“Settlin’”/“Stay”) quickly followed in ’06 and their third studio album Love On The Inside (“It Happens”/“Love”/“All I Want To Do”/“Already Gone”) in July ’08, which skyrocketed them to superstardom, drawing fans from all genres and critics abroad.
Ringo Starr is hot off releasing his fifteenth studio album Y Not. This summer he will be touring with the 11th All Starr Band including: Edgar Winter, Gary Wright, Rick Derringer, Richard Page (Mr. Mister) and Wally Palmar (Romantics), and Gregg Bisonnette.
Friends of CMAC plans to announce additional performances in the weeks to come. In keeping with the tradition of the community amphitheatre, these dates will include performances by the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra and the Rochester City Ballet.

The Friends of Constellation Brands – Marvin Sands Performing Arts Center (FCMAC) is a not-for- profit corporation that was formed to assume the responsibility for financial operation of CMAC. It is located on the campus of Finger Lakes Community College in Ontario County.
The Bowery Presents is an emerging entertainment agency, founded in 2004 by partners John Moore and Michael Swier. Headquartered in Newark, NJ, the company is known for booking indie-rock bands and up-and-coming artists.
